The other faces of Che
Selection from the artist's earlier archive in which Javier revisits images of Che Guevara in mosaics on glass, emphasizing less monumental and more intimate scenes.

Glass portrait series
The artist's older gallery already presented this group as a distinct series, with stable titles, technique and dimensions. Rather than reproducing the storefront logic of the former site, the new page frames these pieces as a research nucleus around portraiture, political memory and the circulation of historical images.
The curatorial interest lies in the move away from a single heroic portrait: Che appears working, in family life or in closer framings. That places the series near the human reading Javier often pursues in the figure and the face.
Image note
The images on this page were imported from the artist's earlier public archive and reorganized here as editorial documentation of a single series.
